The flowers were amazing. They were from Harmony Hill Gardens, which is an organic grower in Buck county. Ben's step mom was instrumental in the arrangements.
David got to spend a good bit of time with the boys, I love this little moment.
Kate was very excited about her shoes, who wouldn't be?
One of my favorites
Kate's something old was the veil her mom wore.
Love this.
Ben taking a few moments before the ceremony.
All the center pieces were different.
All of the details at the wedding were made, or arranged by family and friends. I like their interpretation of the program as the chalk board.
I love the look Ben is giving Kate here as they meet at the alter.
They did a self uniting ceremony. Kate's aunt Sara officiated; Kate and Ben wrote their own vows. September 26 is also sentimental because Ben's grandfather was married on the same day in 1941. Pretty cool.
I loved the brides maids dresses. Some gorgeous ladies.
The emotion on both sides of the family was very touching.
The kiss!
I love how Ben is getting the "adaboy" from his dad as they come down the isle!
We really hoped the horses would be out for some photos.
A still from one of my motion sequences, check out the slideshow below for more.
I think this guy may have secretly wanted to eat Kate's bouquet.
Radnor Hunt has this awesome swing. We had to take advantage.
Another favorite.
Instead of a wedding cake, they had pie.
The pie's were delicious. They all came from Linvilla Orchards except the one on top, Kate's mom made that one special.
I love love this little moment!
Pie is good!
What an awesome day. We had such a great time and the weather held for us, the minute we were done with portraits the sky opened up! Thank you for having me out, always a pleasure.
Stephanie and Dan had one of the most gorgeous days I can remember! We had such a great time with them. Such a fun group. Before getting into images here are some of the vendors that played an important role.
I just need to preface this post by saying I could have easily posted every single image from the day on the blog! Geesh it was hard to narrow down, there are many many more where these and the slideshow images came from. I just hope the ones I choose do it justice.
Let me start by giving you all of Melanie and Joe's vendors that made their day so beautiful. Venue & Cake: Nomandy Farm Flowers: Petals Lane, Brittany always does an amazing job. Dress: Casablanca, Melanie incorporated a few custom touches as well. Photobooth: Party Booths Band: DAME, they always rock the house! Video: Marc Smiler, Marc did their love story which you can see here. Make-up: Pasha Cosmetics by Pam Fox Second Shooter: The one and only Miss Linette! Thank you so much darling! I love having Linette out shooting with me, you will see lots of here photos here too. She got to hang with the boys before the ceremony. If you want to take a peek back at their engagement session go here.
We will start off with the bouquet. You will notice the detail of the humming bird. The hummingbird has a special meaning to this family. After the passing of Melanies great grandmother a hummingbird started coming around very frequently. The hummingbird seems to visit her family in the most perfect and sometimes strangely coincidental times. It serves as a reminder that they have loved ones always looking down on them. I thought it was a fantastic addition.
Melanies Mom had all of her things strategically laid out for her. I just love this one with the reflection of her dress and the shoes on the dresser.
Beautiful Melanie
The boys huddling in.
Joe excited on the way to the church.
Check out Mel and her ride to the church!
It's all sinking in! Dad is giving his daughter away! Ahh!
The ring barer pillow, so unique.
I love catching little moments with the children.
Married!!
I like to do fun active stuff with my bridal parties, you will see those in the slideshow, I love these candids Linette caught.
One of my favorites. We did portraits at the most perfect time of the day. Not to mention this was the most beautiful day in September!
I think this proves that Joe will do anything, and I mean anything for Melanie.
The car was awesome!
I loved their first dance too. Definitely showed off their individualism, the song in the slideshow is what they danced to.
Love this and check out how ripped Melanie is! Nice muscle tone girl!
I am already wishing I put more images in the slideshow, I know I left out a lot. Their slideshow could have easily been a five minuter if I could do more than one song. I have to mention that Melanie did such a great job planning out the timing of the day. Not only did we get the very best light of the day but we had plenty of time for all the formals and for their portraits. We were not rushed in any way. We even finished ahead of schedule and they got to attend most of their cocktail hour. It was perfect.
You guys are great. You already know how much fun we had with you. Its been such an amazing experience. Thank you for making me feel so warm and welcome the whole time.
Enjoy your slideshow, I apologize for the one little hiccup in there. I can't seem to get rid of it.
Well where to begin?! Emily and Josh's wedding was such a fun day! It was such a HOT day too! I think it may have been one of the hottest of the year and they had to make a tough decision about moving the ceremony to under the pavilion, we were expecting major thunderstorms that evening. The decision was made to play it safe and have it under the pavilion, it was a gorgeous site and inside or outside the ceremony was so beautiful, touching and you could just feel the love between Emily and Josh. The rabbi did such a great job, laughter tears and joy. When the bridal party was coming up from the barn to be introduced the skies opened up and we got our thunderstorm. It was pretty cool actually, going into the first dance and hora with thunder trying its best to be noticed above the music. It was such a great party. Big thanks to Heather Fowler for second shooting for me!
Get comfy, lots of images here and slideshow at the end.
I love this shot of Josh that Heather got before we headed out.
Emily's dress was gorgeous!
Love the moments when the dress first goes on!
Emily's parents, so cute as they react to seeing her in her dress.
They were so cute for their first meet.
Love this.
I shot a few rolls of medium format film for them. This is one from the film series.
I loved that the bridesmaids flowers were all different. Looked so cool against the hot pink dress.
Josh got his suit in Thailand, it was custom made. Emily chose the inside accent color as a surprise for Josh when they picked it up at the end of their trip. This is where the hot pink theme comes in to play. Isn't that an awesome suit!
True personalities come through!
Awwe Yeah.
A quick fleeting moment in the barn next to the AC vent, ahhh heaven!
Love this one Heather got of the boys.
One more from Heather, moments just before heading down the isle. Some tender words from her dad. Love it.
The kiss!
Loved this, happy to be hitched! Everything looked amazing!
Kristina and Dave had a beautiful wedding at Drexelbrook! Miss Jenn Childress was there second shooting for me, thank you Jenn! We had a great time with a very lively group. I started with Kristina. She kept her dress a secret from everyone until right before she put it on. Most of the time the girls and mom know what the dress looks like, but not this time. I loved her dress. It was a fantastic spinning dress.
Love this image right before she got dressed.
Jenn was with the guys before hand and got this great portrait of Dave. Love it.
Kristina has strikingly gorgeous eyes.
We had a few moments to relax, breathe and take some portraits before the ceremony. I love the calmness in this one.
Beautiful
Might be my favorite.
I love capturing the guys making their entrance.
The look from the groom when he see's his bride for the fist time, always priceless.
Kristina gave her new daughters a special gift during the ceremony, it was very sweet.
This little guy wanted to check out the gazebo during the ceremony. You can see a little mischievousness in his face, I love it.
The bubble machine at the end was the perfect touch! The newlyweds.
Love this portrait Jenn got.
The first dance was a lot of fun. That dress was amazing.
We stepped outside for a few night portraits. I love this one.
OOh buttery! Love this.
You knew they were going to smash! Everyone knew and man did they smash! Look for the whole sequence in the slideshow. It has to be the best cake smash I have ever seen.
Such a fun time! Thank you so much for having us out. enjoy your slideshow!
It was an absolutely perfect day for Erika and Ryan. Where do I begin really? Through all the planning and phases of preparing for this wedding I really bonded with them. We had such a blast during their engagement session, Erika had an amazing boudoir session with me an Jenn Childress and getting to know them over this past year has been just an overall awesome experience. Showing up on the wedding day, being welcomed by family and friends and just feeling a close connection with Erika and Ryan made for a perfect day.
So on to some images. As always there are more in the slideshow at the bottom of this post.
This may be one of my favorites of the day. Erika's first look at herself in the dress.
Dad's first look at Erika
I think we all had some tears at this point. Ryan was SOOO nervous and excited to see Erika for the first time. He was tearing up even before he got his first look.
Love this moment.
I love seeing the softer side in men. You can see the overwhelming love he has for Erika right here.
Its always good to look at things a little differently sometimes.
I can see this image printed and framed in every family members house.
Erika is one of the most strikingly beautiful women I have ever known.
Another favorite, just love it.
Gorgeous day, gorgeous bride.
You have to have a little fun in the dress.
The beginning of one of my motion sequences in the slideshow. I particularly like this image on its own as well.
What a great bunch of bridesmaids and a great moment!
Ryan with his boys and best lady.
Erika and her girls.
Now this moment, makes me tear up every time! Erika is very close to her Me-mom. June 27 wasn't a date chosen at random, June 27 is the date her grandparents were married 60 years ago. The garter Erika wore was the same garter her Me-mom wore on her wedding day. I just love this, the first time Me-mom sees Erika, you can just tell how close they are.
Okay, wiping away some tears? Well you have to love the moments after they are pronounced man and wife. These images are always some of my favorites.
I loved this little detail Erika had for her Moms flowers.
First dance.
I love this room at Appleford! This is moments before they are announced, taking a second for a photograph.
This wedding was one of the biggest dancing groups of the season. Jason Weldon had them dancing all night long!!
Can't leave out the bridesmaids new best friend, Pete Malone. I can't wait to see the video from this wedding. The whole day the bridesmaids were harassing Pete (in a good fun way) the phrase of the day was "ya get that Pete?" Oh girls he got it, don't you worry! haha.
Such a fantastic day, fantastic couple and fantastic vendors. Thank you so much for making me part of such a wonderful event. You guys are awesome.
Check out the slideshow, the music is an Italian wedding song in honor of Erika and Ryan's Italian honeymoon. It is very enjoyable and gives a good encounter of the whole day.
Mandy and Ryan's wedding was an awesome experience. They were married in Lincoln Nebraska, where they are from but they live here in Philly. Lincoln is a cool little town and Mandy and Ryan's families were so hospitable. Both sides of the family have been waiting for this day to come, Mandy and Ryan have been together for nine years! It was truely a weekend of celebration. We had an amazing time. I am going to jump right into the images, there is a slideshow at the end if you want to see more images.
Mandy's shoes.
Time to get into the dress! Very exciting.
I really love this shot, Mandy watching as her bridesmaids get some finishing touches.
Anticipation to see Ryan for the first time.
Ryan mighty handsome in some window light.
Another favorite, moments after they first saw each other.
The weather was bit off and on, some sprinkles but luckily we had planned on doing portraits in the capital building anyway. It was great we were the only ones there.
Have to love great foot wear!
You have to make sure to have a little fun in the dress, I've been enjoying doing this with my brides this year.
This may be one of my all time favorite portraits EVER.
A quick kiss before heading to the church.
Rust and rings, good combo!
Loved Ryan's tie.
There is a fun series of these two in the slideshow. With kids its always inevitable that they won't want to cooperate for a simple photograph and that's okay as long as you know how to get what you need out of them. For this image the flower girl really wanted her mom, but her brother was quite content and rather chipper. I told them to give me their best funny face, the ring bearer was all about that and in a series of five or so images the flower girl goes from all frowns to a very nice smile, her brother all the while with a goofy face. I love it. This image is the mid point.
Mandy coming down the isle with her Dad.
Woohoo! Married!
They had this awesome bugeye sprite to drive away in. AWESOME.
Off into the sunset, after a few laps around the Hay Market.
weeee! I love Mandy's expression in this one.
The reception venue was amazing, AMAZING. There is nothing like this in Philly. It was the Rococo theater, which has been restored back to its theater dining state.
Check that out! Pretty awesome.
The best speech of the season. "Finding a husband at Target"
Adorable cake toppers to match the lovely couple.
The first dance.
Being sent off with sparklers at the end of the night.
When the reception was over a sever thunderstorm was rolling through the area and it was pouring rain! I love how this image captures all the raindrops.
Big thank you to Don for shooting with me! It was such an great day for a fantastic couple. Check out the slideshow, its super cute. Be patient and let it load, I have it set to load all images before playing so you will get a smoother playback.
Blair and Mark's wedding was full of surprises! We were laughing about it because I always ask if there are any special surprises that will happen during the day so that I can watch for them and be ready but they said no there wasn't anything in particular planned. Well that was because they had no idea! They were surprised by Blair's dad and brother with beautiful music and singing, another one of Blair's friends came out belting Tina Turner, the bridesmaids surprised Blair with the song she had originally wanted to dance their first dance to, and it just seemed to keep going. It was a great time, I was so happy to be a part of it.
Blair's shoes. She was excited about the shoes and more excited about the shot I would get for her.
Steve got some awesome ring shots.
Handling of the dress.
Love this one Steve got of Mark!
Blair was simply beaming all day.
My favorite shot of Blair.
They didn't see each other before hand, this is Marks first look at Blair coming down the isle.
The kiss
Married!!!
Blair showing off her bling and some flare.
Its funny I took this shot just to get a meter reading on Blair's skin tone, it was only a shot for technical purposes, but I really like it.
Walking on air.
Great light, great couple, what more could you ask for?
Another favorite.
The first Dance
Blair's brother Seth and one of the Bridesmaids sang Lucky by Jason Mraz. It was fantastic.
Big Ric even got Mark out to sing to Blair, which was hilarious! Most men would have caved under the pressure and while Mark is not the most musically talented he surprised everyone with his new found ability. Blair and everyone else including me loved every minute of it.
I just love this reaction. It was so fantastic to see the love and support behind Blair and Mark.
YEAH! You go Mark! I love this one.
With all of the surprises that kept popping up during the reception we did manage to get away for some shots with the Meadowcroft sign. They had been talking about this sign since I first met them over a year and a half ago! There had been some mention that we might not be able to make it work with the timing and such of the day but I was not going to let this photo opportunity slip and I knew it was important. Mark and Blair piled into my car and we snuck out of the reception for a few to get these. TOTALLY worth it.
Be sure to watch the slideshow for some more images and dancing. The song was written and perfomed by Blair's brother Seth, he has an amazing voice.
Okay, so yes I have been a tad absent with the blog posts as of late. I do have a good reason, I have been traveling and shooting and traveling and shooting, well you get the idea! I have a ton on deck, so I thought I would give you the line up in order of whats next here at the Joy Moody blog!
First up will be Blair and Mark married June 6th! Such a fun evening full of surprises. This image is one they talked about when I first met with them a year and a half ago! Meadowcroft is their new last name so it only seemed appropriate to do a little shoot with this sign which was conveniently located down the street from the reception.
Then we have Marybeth and Adam. Marybeth happens to be one of my best friends, we were roommates for a semester in College. I traveled down to Ocean City Maryland to have a little visit and engagement session with these two beautiful people. They both work at Seacrets and they also met there so it was the obvious choice to do the engagement session there.
These are all of Adams favorite things.
Some moodybabies will grace the blog as well! This is baby A.J. Talk about a small world but I first met A.J's dad during Erika and Ryan's engagement session, he let us take some pictures up on their roof deck, we then figured out that AJ was in a play group with baby Abbie! We had such a fun time, cant' wait to share these!
Then baby Ryder! Oh my how this little boy has grown since our first session. He is so adorable I can't even express his cuteness.
Then up is Mandy and Ryan's wedding. They were married in Nebraska this past weekend, June 20th. Don and I had a most enjoyable time with their family and friends and the wedding was so much fun!
I am playing a lot of catchup this week and gearing up for Erika and Ryans wedding on Saturday! So keep an eye out on all the eye candy that will soon grace the blog.
I can't say enough about Molly and Brian really. Everything about last Saturday was perfect. Starting with the most gorgeous weather anyone could have hoped for it all just got better as the day progressed. Molly was stunning, simply stunning. Brian handsome, cool and collected. Both sides of the family, which is now a HUGE family, were so easy going, happy and excited all day. How can you not get some awesome images in an environment like that? I don't think its possible. Before moving on to this large post, and believe me I could have featured every image that is in the slideshow but I had to show some restraint, here are some of the vendors that made this day fantastic. Venue: The National Constitution Center Flowers – Amaranth Florist, Narberth, PA Dress – Melissa Sweet Band – CTO Park Central (as of this week they will be CTO To the Max) Catering – Max & Me Catering Cupcakes – Angie’s Fancy Pans 2nd Shooter: Linette Kielinski, BIG, HUGE thank you to Linette. Linette is close personal friends of Molly's family and I would not have been shooting this wedding had it not been for her referral. Molly and Brian specifically requested Linette and I am happy they did! Linette first of all is an awesome photographer (my plea to have her shoot with me more this year, PLEASE!) and second the connection she has to this family brought a very wonderful personal touch to her images. Thank you so much Linette.
We started with Molly getting ready. She had a wonderful close friend do her make-up.
The rings.
The shoes, on the blue rocks Molly's cousin brought down from Maine as a wedding present.
Linette's shoe shot after I had put the shoes back where I found them. LOVE this.
I love brides going up and down stair cases, something about images like this.
Beautiful Molly
We had some fun with her fantastic dress.
The first look.
I love the excitement in Molly's face.
Linette caught Brian's excitement.
Molly and her girls.
Brian and his boys
I know I already teased you with this one. I just love it.
Watch out, he's hot!
We had such an awesome location. Love this one of Molly.
The National Constitution Center is an awesome place for a wedding. Especially when you had weather like Molly and Brian did. Linette got this great overall shot.
Molly's nephew and niece, the ring barer and flower girl.
The hora, man this was so much fun!
If you want to see more, watch the slideshow, its a big one!
Molly and Brian it has been such a pleasure, seriously. I love you guys and both of your families. I am excited that I will see you guys again this fall at another wedding!
Irene & Jim were married last Saturday at the Rittenhouse Hotel in center city. It was a gorgeous day and they were a stunning couple. I have had a great time getting to know these two. They are a quiet couple but they are full of surprises. We opted to have them meet before the wedding at get all the portrait and group photos out of the way. The only way to go really if you want to attend your cocktail hour. Before diving into the photos here are some of the other vendors that made this day so awesome. Dress: Jim Hjelm Flowers: Petals Lane Venue: The Rittenhouse Hotel Band: Sid Miller Band Caterer and Cake: The Rittenhouse Hotel Lighting: Synergetic Sound & Lighting 2nd Shooter: Steve Langdon (Thank you SOOO much Steve! It was a pleasure working with you again!)
We started the day with just Jim and Irene. I love Irene's expression here, she had the best smile when looking at Jim so I had him stand behind me. (Jim is super tall)
Love the shadows in this one.
Love this one Steve got. Jim looks like he is straight out of the Frank Sinatra era.
Gorgeous. I don't use textures too much, but I thought it was appropriate to get the look and feel I wanted in these next two.
The light was right on!
I think this is one of my favorites.
The flowers looked awesome!
These next two shots would not have been possible had Steve not been second shooting for me. Steve had shot some interiors for this building and asked them if we could take Jim and Irene up to the roof deck for some photos. They obliged and we took full advantage.
This one is looking over South Philly.
Such a vibrant bouquet and lovely details on Irene's dress.
Married!
Congratulations you guys!
The table setups were super simple and elegant.
Jim's reaction to his brothers toast.
I couldn't resist. This is one of Jim's running buddies and he put on quite a show.
The hora is always good for photo opportunities. I love that they are going in for a high five.
Last one. I love the in action moment while Irene was dancing.
Be sure to check out the slideshow for more images. Irene and Jim I hope you are having a wonderful time in Italy!
Well I think its apparent why I have given so much exposure to this wedding. Not only were Saya and Chandan just awesome, but their wedding was such an amazing experience for me that I have to share. Again a huge thank you to Ryan Estes for coming out with me. It was fun watching him prance around like a kid in a candy store, I think we both were actually. Go check out his blog for some more amazing eye candy. Once I get through editing all these images I will make an awesome slideshow and post it.
Back to the images!
Saya getting prepped for the ceremony.
Chandan making a striking entrance.
I love that the bride is carried in on a Doli. Amazing.
Very sweet moment between Saya and Chandan during the ceremony.
Chandan’s mother presents Saya with a mangalsutra, welcoming her to the family.
I just liked this little detail of Chandan fidgiting.
Chandan putting toe rings on Saya.
Talambralu (Rice Shower)- Saya and Chandan welcome each other into their lives by showering rice on each others heads, as a symbol of fertility and prosperity. It started by then gently showering each other with handfuls of rice, but it ended with each of them dumping the whole bowl on each other. Ryan actually captured some awesome shots of Saya getting dumped on, check his blog.
Love catching the guests flash when the bride and groom leave! You can never plan for it. Its just luck when it happens.
A quick outfit change and weather change and we were outside for more portraits.
They just keep getting better looking.
The evening turned out some amazing light! We really got lucky.
A happily married couple.
Saya should really be a model, but she makes a good doctor too. Brains and beauty.
I loved this dress. Saya doing a little walk for us.
One last quick portrait, the light was too awesome to pass up.
Suji Productions not only did a fantastic job as DJ both days but they also did an amazing job with the lighting.
Saya and her dad surprised everyone during the father daughter dance. They had it all planned out and busted into a choreographed performance. It was awesome.
Curious to know what 325 people on the dance floor looks like?
Saya's dad being lifted by the crowd. This was seriously an awesome party group.
Chandan, two thumbs up, here's looking at you!
To end the night with a nice little moment of Saya and Chandan dancing.
I am a little sad its over! This wedding was amazing and is up at the top of my list for all time favorites. Wish your family well Saya, it was such a pleasure.
Matt & Marcella are married! I can't believe it was just yesterday. I am so thrilled for them. I have known Matt for a long time and it meant a lot to me being there to document his day for him. I will have a full post in the next week but I wanted to share some favorites from the portraits.
It was cloudy all day so having a bit of a sunset yesterday was an unexpected surprise. I was really excited to get some dramatic portraits.
We did the portraits on Marcella's family farm in Lancaster. It was an amazing backdrop.
It just makes me laugh. Do you think Matt is excited to be married? He has to be one of the best jumpers I have ever seen. He has one photograph of himself that I will always remember, I think he was in high school, he is jumping higher than a car. Getting a shot of him in the air seemed like the thing to do in this situation.
Another one of Marcella, just love it.
We took a few shots in her Dads barn. It was fantastic.
They are off to warmer climates tomorrow, lucky!
You guys have a great time, such a pleasure and be sure to check back this weekend for a more in depth post.
Continuing on with this gorgeous October weekend Ashley and Matt had such a gorgeous day! I have really enjoyed getting to know Ashley & Matt. Talking with Matt you can't help but crack up at his sarcastic sense of humor, he is going to give Ashley many laugh lines. Its funny because I feel like I get to know my couples pretty well and I have to catch myself during the ceremony sometimes if something is funny because I have laughed out loud a couple times. This happened at Ashely and Matt's wedding. Matt wrote a love letter to Ashley for his vows and I will always remember one little part where he read "and everyone is starring at me right now, aren't they?" I know I am taking that a little out of context for all of you who were not there, but I still just crack up and you will see Ashley cracking up as well in the slideshow. Both of them are great writers and their vows have to be some of the best I have ever heard, straight from the heart and full of their personalities. Venue: Appleford Flowers: Beautiful Blooms Dress Designer: Wearkstatt Bridal Boutique: Bridal Garden Caterer: Feastivities Bakery: Cake Art Studio DJ: Anastasia, I don't have a website for her but she was awesome! Videographer: First Floor Films, awesome working with you Pete! Second shooter the one and only Miss Linette. This was our last wedding of the season together! boohoo, we didn't realize it until days later. It was a great season Linette, so happy to have had you out on so many weddings this year.
On to some images and slideshow at the end.
Ashley was stunning.
Flowers were gorgeous! They totally matched the dress Ashley wore for their engagement shoot.
The cake was not only gorgeous, but it was delicious!
This has to be one of my favorite images from Linette!
Appleford has a lot of really cute spots for photos inside, they just did some refinishing and freshening up. I love this of Ashley in the bridal suite.
First look coming down the isle.
Awesome ring shot compliments of Linette. Matt opened a very special bottle of wine for the occasion and this was the cork.
Matt can get the best smiles and laughs from Ashley.
Hey! You're married!
My current favorite bridal party photo.
Signing of the marriage license. I love the reflections.
You gotta love a couple that can sing Bon Jovi to each other!
Fun shot of one of Ashley's bridesmaids. Here's looking at you!
Ashley and Matt is was such a pleasure, I had a ball, I love both your families and can't wait to come to dinner at your new restaurant!
The weekend of October 11th was I have to say one of the most gorgeous weekends I have ever experience since being here on the east coast. The whole day driving from Beth's parents to the church and the church to the reception I felt like I was in Vermont. There was no overwhelming sense of rush during the day, everything flowed smoothly and the drive to and from locations was so breathtaking it was therapeutic. Before I get too into this post here are the extra special vendors: Dress - Paloma Blanca Cake - Sweet Jazmine's Flowers - Charlene Pederson DJ/Musicians - Chris Thornton Reception - Welkinweir A special thank you to Rebecca Barger who was out second shooting with me. We had a great time and I really enjoyed adding her photojournalist expertise to the mix.
I loved that the pastor who married Beth & John was a good friend, he made the ceremony deeply personal and fun. I keep remembering the story he told of how Beth and John first met, John struck up a conversation saying how he was going to bring the fanny pack back in style. Something about that just makes me laugh.
So I guess you want to see some images? Well ok, I think I can handle that.
Always looking for new interesting ways to photograph the shoes.
I love the emotion in this one, these are a few of Beth's bridesmaids.
Something about when a bride is dressed and ready to go!
Beth plays the piano so this was a great spot for a few images.
One of my favorites, I love brides descending the staircase.
This was a bridesmaids bouquet, gorgeous.
Lovely moment and lovely framing during the prayer.
Fun shoe shot with shadows.
I had to include Grandpa. I just love this image and I love his boutonniere.
I have been loving to capture the earrings this season.
John watching Beth walk down the isle, seeing her for the first time.
Such cute church and great light.
I love the old feel in this image.
Now that's a big bridal party! They were so cooperative too!
The bagpiper was a surprise for Beth and John.
I think this may be my favorite image of them.
Look at those fall colors! Beth is gorgeous.
Welkinweir was a gorgeous venue, especially at this time of year. If you are looking for a venue for your wedding I highly recommend checking them out.
Beth and John, it has been such a pleasure, congratulations!
Jessica and Karol had a glorious day in October for a wedding! Everything went so smoothly it was amazing. Jessica did a fantastic job with all the little details and scheduling of the day. We were never rushed and they were able to enjoy every minute of the day without missing a thing. The fantastic vedors: Florist: Ten Pennies Dress: Marisa from the Bridal Garden Shoes: J. Crew Cake/Reception Site: Hyatt DJ: DJ Johny Looch String Duet: Glorious Strings Miss Linette was out shooting with me again, we had a great time as usual.
The couple
Jessica's purse was awesome, it totally matched her dress perfectly
Some Details
Even the adorable pooch was dressed for the occasion.
I love this, the look on Karol's face as he watched Jess come down the isle.
Linette caught this wonderful moment with Karol and his dad. There were so many moments like this all day. Karol's dad and brother were so proud and so happy for the new couple, lots of endearing happy tears flowing.
Jessica and Karol both went to Penn so Jessica got permission for us to take photos in the Quad. It was an awesome location!
Such a lovely bridal party
Jessica was simply gorgeous.
Karol was elated to have his ring, he was showing it off all day!
Such a dapper man, wouldn't you say? Awesome shot from Linette.
The first dance
The reception was at the Hyatt which has amazing views of the Delaware river. This is a fun image playing off the reflection in the ball room and the lights outside.
I love this image, such a classic movie feeling.
A little painting with light
It was such an amazing day, we had such a great time!
Congratulations you guys! Linette and I had the most enjoyable experience with you and everyone at your wedding.
Alicia and Dave got married almost two weeks ago! I am horrible for not getting some teasers up sooner, so I am making a super sized teaser. Full post coming soon.
The Rings
The dress, gorgeous.
Lovely moment during the ceremony
The rain didn't stop us from getting a few photos outside.
Love this couple!
First Dance
Cake cutting
Dave and his sister singing into the hand mic, "oo oh, living on a prayer!". Love it.
I am getting caught up again and will have a slew of posts coming up, keep on the look out.
Dave and Alicia I hope you guys are having and amazing honeymoon!
Crystal and Chris are such an awesome couple. They, like many couple and good friends of mine met on match.com. I really love hearing stories like theirs. Crystal was the only girl Chris went out with, he knew right away she was his match. I would have never guessed they met in this way, they compliment each other so well and their love surrounds them. Don and I got to spend some time with them in NYC for their engagement shoot and they could not have been more hospitable and welcoming. They are a true NYC couple. Crystals family is in the Philadelphia area so they decided to have their wedding here, they did an amazing job planning it from NYC.
They are off on their honeymoon and second wedding ceremony in Korea by now so I know they will be excited to see this post and slideshow along the way. Before I get too ahead of myself here are all the vendors that made this day so wonderful:
Miss Jackie Bayne was along second shooting with me that day, she grabbed this sweet shot of Chris.
Crystal and Chris were so excited to go to LOVE park. I love this shot of them.
We played around with some of the "toys" by city hall.
One of my favorite portraits of the day.
I just love this, the excitement right before the kiss!
Bubbles!
Crystal was soo excited for this shot. She picked out the socks specially.
The cake was amazing. When we first walked into the room it was all you could smell.
A nice shot to end with, the bags from the candy bar and the rings.
It was such an amazing day, so beautiful. Thank you so much for coming out with me Jackie, it was a pleasure. I hope you two have a wonderful ceremony in Korea. I wish I could be there! I can't wait to catch up when you return.
I feel so lucky to get to be around such amazing people every weekend. Saturday Liz and Kevin were absolutely stunning! It was a gorgeous day and everything went so smoothly we were actually early for the cocktail hour! Crazy.
Here are a few teasers from the portraits.
My favorite
I just love Liz's playful expression here
It was rather chilly. But we braved the wind and cold for a few shots in front of the Ben Franklin before heading inside.
I have really enjoyed the time spent with Ashley & Matt. Sunday, just like Saturday, was absolutely gorgeous. Ashley & Matt broke the family curse of rain on their wedding day, it could not have been more perfect. Here are a few teasers.
The moment right before the kiss, I could have posted the kiss but I love this moment right before, their excitement was overwhelming.
I just crack up at this, I love it. It speaks both their personalities so well.
A very quick moment as they were waiting to be introduced at the reception. Again, so much personality.
Matt has a great sense of humor and can always make you laugh, but I love love that in this image you can see his total love for Ashley. Such an intense moment. I think both Linette and I cried as this was taking place.
The reception was almost over and they realized they had not signed the marriage license yet! We got that taken care of.
I know this was a long teaser than usual. I couldn't choose.
I can't even begin to tell you what a wonderful weekend of weddings I just had.
Beth and John were married on Saturday near Pottstown but I swear I could have been in Vermont. Such a gorgeous day. There was a bit of driving between locations but it was the most calming, beautiful drive that it was seriously one of the highlights of my day. Usually if there is driving involved it can be a bit stressful, not on this day though.
The ceremony, oh man one of the most sensitive touching ceremonies of the season. The day, one of the absolute most beautiful days of the year. The couple, so sincere, so in love and what a good looking pair. The party, wow their friends and family can boogie, give speeches from the heart and rally around the new couple with complete love and support.
This is only a teaser post, you can be sure to see more from this wedding very soon.
New Husband and Wife
Just Married
The last dance before they said their farewells. I loved how everyone formed a circle around them, so much love at this wedding!
Melissa and Mike were married at Glenn Foerd Mansion on Sept 21 and it was a gorgeous day. I was much more involved than normal in this wedding as Melissa is a very dear friend to me. I have known Melissa for a long time and seen her go through so much over the years. It meant a lot to me to be there and document this special day for her and Mike.
Melissa's dress was stunning
Beke Beau was there doing make-up and I think everyone has to agree she is not only a great person but she did a beautiful job. I believe I can quote Melissa when she said nobody else would ever be allowed to do her make-up.
I love this of Ellena looking at mommy getting into her wedding dress. Ellena was very sweet and told Melissa that she looked very bootiful.
I love this moment that Linette caught during Melissa and Mikes first meeting. The excitement on their faces says it all.
We stepped back to give them a moment alone, I loved this little pavilion.
Gorgeous couple!
I sent this image to Melissa earlier this week. Her dad cracks me up and when I saw this image I just laughed. He is sticking his tongue out at Mike for some reason, I would love to know what was going on. I have other images with them walking down the isle but this one just speaks the personality of this family.
Another great moment caught by Linette, who knew Mike was such a sensitive guy?
I always love the moment the come down the isle together as husband and wife.
We did a few portraits later in the evening and when I told them to get into the bath tub, there was a little hesitation but they were totally up for anything.
Melissa and I did a "special" shoot a few weeks before the wedding just for Mike and in this shot I asked her to give me "the look" LOVE it.
Special Thank You to Linette for shooting with me and covering the reception so I could be a guest, well I tried to be a guest anyway... Always love shooting with you Linette!
Melissa and Mike you guys are awesome, what else can I say? Congratulations!
A few more vendors that did an amazing job: Catering: Conroy Catering Florist: Flowers by Janine in Moorestown NJ Make-up Artist: Beke Beau
Saturday was about the most perfect day you could ask for. The weather was gorgeous, Jessica and Karol were stunning and the flow of the day could not have gone any smoother. We had plenty of time between the ceremony and cocktail hour for photos and I give myself and Linette a big pat on the back for delivering them to their cocktail hour right on time, all family photos and portraits done! So as you can tell I am a bit behind on my full blog posts and slideshows and am taunting you with another teaser. I am catching up though and will be back on track before you know it.
Without further ado, I give you two teasers.
One of my new all time favorites during the ceremony
Simple classic portrait, but love the colors the season is bringing! Not to mention Jessica and Karol make a stunning couple.

Saturday was such a fun day with Crystal and Chris! As promised here is a teaser or two. I will have a full post and slideshow up sometime next week.
This was a crowd favorite in the slideshow I put together during the reception.
And one that wasn't in the slideshow that caught my eye.
They went back to work on Monday which I am sure was really hard to do but they will be going to Korea for another wedding ceremony and to Thailand for their honeymoon in a couple of weeks.
Melissa and Mike had a gorgeous wedding and fantastic day on Sunday. I will post a full report next week once our big move is over but I know there are plenty of people waiting patiently. I know who you are! ha ha. I gave a good sneak peek with a large slideshow at the wedding so I wanted to post a teaser that nobody has seen yet.
We were able to sneak away a little during the reception for a few "moody" portraits.
And I can't help myself but post Melissa's reaction to the gift I gave her and Mike. I always give a gift to my couples but Melissa and Mike are an exception. Melissa as many of you probably already know is a very dear friend of mine, we go way back to Drexel days. I have been documenting major moments in her life for years now, she has also been very instrumental in my referral base helping my biz grow. I was more involved in this wedding than any wedding, I helped her by designing her invitations, menus and save the dates. I helped her pick out all the paper, cut the paper and put everything together. I have been the ear on the end of the phone when everything was so crazy she didn't think she would keep her sanity. A few days before the wedding she gave a few hints that, hey you know we don't leave until Wednesday... if you want to put anything online... Little did she know I already had something bigger up my sleave. I wanted to send them on their honeymoon with a pocket full of photos. So I got her and Mike an iPod touch, loaded it will countless photos I have done for them and of course music. I knew it would be a big surprise and was so excited to present it to them. Linette captured the moment perfectly don't you think? Love you guys, have a fantastic relaxing honeymoon.
Last weekend Hurricane Hanna was in town, in full force. While torrential rain is the last thing you want on your wedding day you just can't control the weather. Sura, John and the whole party were so great and took it all in stride. The wedding was held at the Doylestown Country Club and they did such a great job with everything. I have to say thank you to everyone there just because everyone was so friendly and accomidating, it really helped the day go by smoothly.
It worked out nicely that Sura was able to get ready in the locker room since nobody was golfing that day. Golf shoes VS wedding shoes!
Simple getting ready shot, love the lockers.Big shout out to Ryan Estes for joining me on this wedding. We love shooting together when the chance comes along. Ryan did an awesome job with the guys, this is one of his shots of John.
Sura was georgous.
Some simple old school portraits.
Some bling.
I love this long shot of Sura with her Dad just before coming down the isle.
mmmm cake
Another one of Ryan's I love this because it is totally John's personality all the way.
You can tell that John isn't going to be nice about giving Sura the cake and I love the tall guy cheering them on in the back.
Their reception was one of the most fun I have been to in a long time. The entertainment Best of Both Worlds played some awesome stuff and kept the party going. Sura and John fooled everyone by starting off dancing to a slow song but then busted out into Great Balls of Fire. It was a total crowd pleaser and got everybody out on the dance floor. There was a big mix of cultures combing their two families as well. Both sides were dancing with each other and having a ball. I see some fun family gatherings in their future.
You must watch the slideshow, its a fun one! Thank you again Ryan for coming out, it is always a pleasure. Sura and John I hope your honeymoon was amazing. Talk to you soon.
I can not even express what a ball I had last Saturday, despite drenching rains from Hanna! I plan on doing a full report in the next day or so. It has been so fun going through all of these images. I promised a teaser post for Sura and John, so here it is. I will have a full report and kickin slideshow up to wash away your Monday blues, so check back!
Congratulations Sura and John!
Their first dance was one of the most creative I have seen in a long time, of course more on that later.
I guess this crowd had a good time? I don't know maybe just a little?
Last Saturday I had the pleasure of documenting the day for Pete & Julie. Everything about the day was perfect. The wedding and reception was held at the Downtown Club in Old City Philadelphia. Everybody there was so friendly and helpful, it was my first time there but I felt very welcome and at home. Julies flowers were provided by Carl Alan Florist, they smelled delightful and were beautiful and classic. The cake from Ann's cake pan was so elegant and full of subltle detail. They put such a nice vintage touch to all the little details throughout the day. Huge thanks to Linette for coming out with me again. We have become a great team, we work together so well and I couldn't have documented the day without her.
Linette got this awesome shot! Pete and his Harley, which he drove to the ceremony.I love this image of Pete before the ceremony, those last few moments. Something about this one during the ceremony, has that vintage feel that went along with the day. Everybody on the sidelines helped make for some really fun shots of this new family. They knew how to keep Logan happy and entertained. I really like this classic relaxed portrait. Shoe detail. This photo feels to me like it could have been taken 50 years ago. I had to include another one of Julie at my favorite location. Brides sideGrooms side, by Linette. Don't you love this location? Linette and I went out the day before the wedding scouting out locations for her to take the guys. I love this spot and its right around the corner from where Julie and Pete live. Linette nailed this one, totally what I had envisioned for the groomsmen shot.
Last but not least Julie surprised Pete with a photobooth at the reception. It was well received and there are some hilarious images that came out of it! I have seen a lot of photobooths and this one was set up really nice, there was a lot of room so you could fit a lot of people at once. Linette and I had to jump in on that action!Julie and Pete it was a pleasure! I wish you all the best and can't wait to see you again.
Lydia and Pat had the most gorgeous day last weekend. They were married at the Pearl S. Buck House, it was my first time there and I love it. Wonderful grounds and such diversity. Lydia's mother provided all the flowers, she did an amazing job. Open Air affairs provided the amazing tent, Festivities delivered amazing food as usual, and Schaffer Sounds kept all the guest on the dance floor. Doughmain Baked goods provided their cake, it looked oh so yummy! Lydia wore a Melissa Sweet Gown from Priscilla of Boston, I love that shop and any bride who has used them just loves them. Miss Linette was out second shooting for me, we work so well together and I am so happy we will be working together on many more weddings to come this year. Ok now on to the the photos and slideshow!
I loved how all the girls helped each other, and Lydia was even doing one of her bridesmaids makeup.
Pat, relaxed and waiting for the show to begin.
Lydia, waiting patiently before she and Pat saw each other for the first time.
Classic, relaxed, Pat and LydiaHere are few more favorite portraits of the two of them.
Something I like about how the light hit each of them as they made their way down the isle.
Lydia wiping the tears away Pat's vowes were so good, so true and touching.
Having fun with the rings
Lydia can seriously turn it on for the camera.
She constantly surprises me and she looked amazing in her Chinese dress, I love this image.
Linette and I had such a great time with you and your families. Thank you so much for having us out to document the day. I hope you are having a wonderful time in Hawaii. See you when you get back.
There are a lot of images in this slideshow, it will take a minute or two to load. Get some tissues ready too, warning you now. I even get teary eyed as I watch it. It is a very complimentary mix of images from me and Linette.
I can hardly believe that is was just last Saturday that Chris and Jess got married. It still feels like it was yesterday. I believe I said it before but I will say it again everything about their day was beautiful and perfect! The wedding was held in Bennington Vermont in Chris's parents back yard. It was gorgeous. Many of the flowers came from Chris's Mom's garden and the rest came from The Tuscan Sunflower and the Bennington Garden Club's Chrysalis designs. This was a "green" theme wedding all around. Jess wore a Hemp wedding dress from rawganique and we are going to be re-using part of the dress for her wedding album. Melinda Kronfeld a very good friend of Jess and Chris and a member of the ECSC made the cake and desserts. The cake had a lemon icing and the tarts were to die for. She did a fantastic job. The caterer, Thyme Tables, out did themselves. The dinner was simply yummy and they used all organic locally grown vegetables, and free range chickens. Peak DJ kept them on their feet all night. So many people put so much work into this wedding and it all really paid off. It was so special for them to get married in Chris's parents back yard. OK, I know you are anxious to see some photos so lets get to it! All these images were taken in the back yard.
I love this image and the barn.
A special hankie made specially for Jess.
So much of the day had a vintage feel to it so I really wanted to carry that forward in the photos.
We became friends with Jess, Chris and the whole ECSC crew a few years ago at a scooter rally. I can truthfully say that I am so happy to have such an awesome friendship with them and so honored to be at the wedding to document the union of two special people. We will see them this coming weekend at the Philly scooter rally and I can not wait! Love you guys.
The song in the slideshow is what they came down the isle to after getting hitched, its fast, its fun and it fits them perfectly.
What an amazing weekend! Don and I just got back from Vermont where were spent a couple extra days after Chris and Jess's wedding. The wedding could not have been more perfect. The weather on Saturday was dreamy as were the bride and groom. It was supposed to rain but did not and the temperature was perfect.
I am just starting to look through all the images now but wanted to give a quick sneak peek.
This is one of my favorite moments.
Check back later this week for a slideshow, Chris and Jess I hope you are enjoying Block Island! Can't wait to see you again in a few weeks.
When I arrived at the house Alison was getting ready at I felt like I already knew everyone, they were all so excited to finally meet me after seeing the engagement photos and while Alison was getting ready she expressed how excited she was to have me there to document the day. She said all she needed from the day was her husband, her ring and her photographs. I can tell you that I am very happy to oblige giving her these photographs to remember such a happy day.
They were married in the cutest little chapel I have ever seen, the Wayside Chapel in Ambler. It was first built as a school house in the 1800's but has been a chapel since the early 1900's. Sure there was no AC but they did have ceiling fans and with so much excitement and emotion in the room I forgot all about the heat and humidity that day. The reception was held at the William Penn Inn in Ambler, everyone there was super friendly and they have some very cute little nooks and crannies to take photos in. Jimmy of the East Coast Disc Jockey's kept everyone on the dance floor. It was a fun wedding and I thought it was really cool that Alison and Kevin had a little scrap booking section for all the guests to have their photo taken, printed and then write a little something for them so that by the end of the night they went home with a photo of each guest in a very unique guest book.
Here are two more of my favorite portraits of Alison and Kevin
This is an image packed slideshow with some fun moments during the reception, enjoy! Alison and Kevin I hope you are having a blast on your honeymoon.
Wow. So yesterday was awesome and I am exhausted! Anyone on the east coast knows that yesterdays weather was like being in a sauna, hot and sticky! But through the heat and the sweat Alison and Kevin and their whole bridal party for that matter were so up beat and happy that looking through the images this morning (in the air conditioning) I would never believe it was so hot. I flew solo yesterday and did not have a chance to give Alison and Kevin a sneak peek slideshow at the reception so I promised them to have a couple images up before they leave on their European honeymoon. I will have a full post in a few days with a slideshow, which with some of the reception shots is going to be awesome. So without further ado, a sneak peek from each part of the day.
Woohoo Married! I love that Alison's sister and Kevin's brother are cheering it up for them on each side.
A detail Alison's bouquet was gorgeous.
The light for portraits, AMAZING.
I have a full sequence of the bouquet toss and LOVE this moment.
Alison and Kevin you guys are awesome and your day was fantastic! Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of it and capture some amazing moments. I hope you have a chance to check back during your honeymoon for your slideshow! Have a great time.
Sunday was such a gorgeous day! It was a pleasure to spend it with Allison and Barry documenting their wedding. They were married at the Overbrook Golf Club in Villanova and the grounds there are awesome. Miss Linette joined me for our first wedding together this year and I can not wait to shoot the next one with her, but thats not until August. She got some amazing images, some of which you will see in the slideshow. Allison's flowers were provided by Petals Lane in Manayunk, the flowers were simply beautiful. Sweet Jazmines provided the cake and I can truthfully say I have not had a more tasty wedding cake! It was delicious. The Mad Jazzsters provided the reception entertainment, and Allisons bridesmaid Kris was the singer! Micheal Simmons provided the pre-ceremony and ceremony music. I also wanted to say thank you to Jimmy who was running around for us all day at Overbrook, he was so friendly and kept everything running smoothly. Ok now on to the images! Be sure to check out the slideshow at the bottom.
Allison's dress was spectacular.
All the bridesmaids received these cool tote bags from Allison filled with all sorts of essentials.
I love the getting dressed shots
I LOVE this image.
It makes me chuckle and it truly conveys the exact moment in making last minute adjustments.
This is one of Linette's shots of Barry getting ready. Its so timeless, I love it! I have never seen Allison more beautiful than she was on Sunday. She was just glowing all day. It was an amazing day. I love a punchy blue sky.
One of my favorites of Allison
Barry showing his true personality, he is such a hamb.Jewish weddings are a blast, I love all the traditions. The Hora is always so much fun.
Allison and Barry are headed off on a lovely honeymoon cruise, have a great time you guys and congratulations!
Allison and Barry had a wonderful wedding on Sunday. Everything about the wedding was beautiful from the weather to the flowers, the dress and the Bride and Groom! I will be posting a full recap very soon but I know I get anxious to see something, anything after the wedding so here is a teaser to get you by.
I think this is an appropriate teaser because just as I held the anticipation for Allison and Barry before they saw each other I am doing the same to all of you checking in to see the images.
Check back before the end of the week, their images and slideshow will be up by Friday, maybe sooner!
When I got the call from Ryan Estes asking if I was available on 4-19 to come out on a wedding with him and that the bride had specifically asked for me I was totally humbled, how cool is that? I was so excited going to this wedding because I knew Carina and Ron were going to be an awesome couple and as always super excited to work with Ryan again. There were a lot of bumps in the road the week before the wedding, having to find a new reception venue four days before the wedding and the limo catching fire before picking everyone up but all turned out well. They moved the reception to the College of Physicians and the limo company sent out a replacement. All was well and everyone took it in stride. So enough talk, I am excited to share some images, and Ryan of course has images and a slideshow posted on his blog so please make sure you head over there to check it out.
Beautiful Carina waiting before the ceremony
One excited groom
Practice paid off and Carina's dad lifted the veil flawlessly. Its cool to see Ryan's view of this same shot on his blog.
Married!A moment of great light as everyone was waiting to go back in the church for photos.
They are such a lovely couple
Carina's mighty handsome husband!
I love spring and the colors it brings.
A little abstract detail
The speeches were great, they laughed, they cried, well done.
The cake cutting was hilarious. Ron knew he wasn't supposed to get messy but he took his chances, and just so you know Carina did get him back.
I just like the feel of this one.
So thanks again for having me out, I was so excited to tag along and document your day. Best of luck to you guys, and enjoy the honeymoon.
First off I hope everyone went out and voted today! I will be very curious to see who Pennsylvania favors. So thats it with the politics, which I am really not big on. On to more exciting things like Alison and Kevin! We had a blast on Sunday and it was such a gorgeous day. Alison and Kevin are true outdoors people and after chatting a bit seems that Kevin is quite the history buff, he would do a good job guiding tours at the Fonthills Museum where we did our shoot! He was full of all sorts of information about the property, which by the way I love this place. So many fun spots to choose from and I love the spring, such vibrant colors.
Alison and Kevin are my 6-7-08 couple and I could not be more excited to shoot their wedding!
Aren't they adorable?
I think they are both naturally photogenic.
Totally hot.
I enjoy being surprised by unintentional shots, as I was getting set up for this shot I fired off a few frames just to make sure my settings were just so as Kevin and Alison were patiently waiting for my instruction and this was the test shot, it turned out to be my favorite of the bunch.
I could not wait to get them in the field of dandelions. We did these at the end, and good thing since we were all covered in yellow pollen afterwards!
I love this sea of green and yellow.
Such a fun afternoon! Be sure to check out the slideshow, a ton of awesome stuff in there even one of them running from the law! :) Not to mention Kevin is a man of many faces and provided me much entertainment going through all these images. Enjoy.
I really can't believe it has been a year since this little guy made his appearance in this world! Linette and Kyle have become such great parents. It has been so fun watching them grow as a family this past year. I seriously don't know where the time has gone.
Here is the little guy in the first few days of his life.
The new family one year ago, my how time flies!
Look at the little man now, one year old, growing so fast!
The wonderful Kielinksi's
Carver's cousin Dom taking him for a cruise.
I love this. Check out how intensely Carver is eyeing up his cake! MMM yummy!
Mom and Dad cutting the first birthday cake for their little boy, in their new house and new kitchen.
And I just love this portrait of Linette and Carver.
Can this kid get any more adorable?
There are plenty more photos where that came from, so check out the slideshow below. Special music chosen specifically with Linette in mind. Love you guys and I am so happy Don and I were there to share such a special day. The party was so fun, be sure to check out Linette's blog to see more.
Edit: I just swiped this from Linette's blog. I find this image Kyle took of me and Don at the party absolutely hilarious!
I had the pleasure of hanging out with Allison & Barry yesterday afternoon for their engagement shoot. They are getting married June 1 at the Overbrook Golf Club, I am really looking forward to it, it will be just gorgeous. The days I get to hang out with the B&G for these shoots are really important. This was my first time meeting Barry and man he is a total ham. Love it. He did the crazy stuff I asked him to and it totally broke the ice for everyone.
This one is my favorite of the day.
The total ham I was talking about.
More play time, Barry is going to be a great dad.
I think this says a lot about the two of them.
Oh man, too much fun. I had a great time with you guys. I can't wait to see you again on the wedding day.
No worries, its a band! Saturday was a whirl wind of a crazy day. Mother nature was having a grand ole time and gave us a good run for our money. Ruder Than You just recorded a new record so we set out to get some shots for the album and they needed updated shots of the band as a whole.
I will share a lot more of the photos from their shoot and a slideshow to one of their songs but for now just this one. I gave them this print framed at their listening party last night.
This past weekend was full of Korean tradition! Not related at all and total coincidence. Sunday morning after my wonderful day at Rich & Yun-Jin's Korean wedding I got to photograph Alex & Sam's first birthday celebration. It was so cute to see them in their little Korean outfits. They had the same type of alter setup I had just seen for the first time the night before. I do not know what it is called however, maybe someone does?
On to the photographs.
Meet Sam on the left and Alex on the right.
They weren't quite sure what to think and Alex was really interested in tasting everything!
A little detail from their outfits.
Just too darn cute.
break time, getting photos taken is hard work. Little ones need to be re-energized.
Fun shot with Mom.
Such a sweet moment between Sam and Mom and Dad. I just love both of these images.
Cake! On a side note it was really funny how differently Sam and Alex approached their birthday cake. Sam totally devoured her piece and it was all over the place while Alex very selectively chose pieces to eat off the cake and her piece still resembled cake when she was done.
Such a pleasure it was, and I can vouch that the cake was out of this world yummy.
Get comfortable, this is a long one. What a day I had Saturday with Rich and Yun-Jin. We had an amazing beautiful day, all week we thought it was going to rain. Ryan Estes joined me for the day, and wow wait until you see some of his photos. He should have some posted on his blog soon. We had such a blast. Rich and Yun-Jin gave us four hours with just them for photos! How crazy is that? That never happens. We took full advantage and have the photos to show for it. We went all over the city, Belmont Plateau, the whispering wall at the Civil War memorial, Penn's Landing, Old City, and FDR park. Plus a pit stop at Cosi for coffee. I could chat all day, but you need to see these images!
Yun-Jin beautiful just getting ready.
It was easy to get fantastic photos of her.
First stop Belmont Platueau. It is a little Philly secret, amazing skyline view.
Beautiful day, Beautiful couple, Beautiful photo.
Off to the Civil War Memorial and my signature fisheye photos.
Full of flare on the whispering bench.
More beautiful scenery at Penn's Landing.
We found amazing light in Old City at Head House Square.
See why I have had such a hard time editing the photos down for this post?
I LOVE this, they were just so much fun and so playful. Yun-Jin was awesome for braving the cold, you would never know it was only about 35 degrees out!
My favorite street in Old City.
On to FDR park. Such great flare all day!
Our limo driver Chris is the one who suggested FDR park, I have never photographed here before. He picked a fantastic location.
I love it, they were so happy all day.
The ceremony and reception was at August Moon in Norristown. Rich sneaking a peek at Yun-Jin during one of the prayers. One side note, the whole ceremony was in Korean so Ryan and I were on our toes the whole time so as not to miss one moment.
After the traditional ceremony we went into a separate room for the Korean ceremony Pae baek. Where they were dressed in bright colored robes, traditional Korean wedding outfits.
You will see more photos of this in the slideshow. This was my first experience with a Korean wedding and it was just amazing. I loved learning a little about another culture, although everything was spoken in Korean. During the Pae baek the bride and groom bow to the grooms parents introducing the bride into the new family. The grooms parents then toss dates and walnuts for the bride and groom to catch, this symbolizes catching prosperity and offspring. Then other family members offer good wishes to the bride and groom. At the end they share the date, which is what they are doing in the photo below. Then the groom carries the bride on his back around the room, I forget why though. You will see more photos in the slideshow.
Saturday evening I went out to document a very special occasion for this family. Joan and Richard's 50th Anniversary. All of their children flew in from across the country to be here for them on this momentous occasion! They have six children, and even more grandchildren. This was a full house and it was certainly spilling over with love.
Here they are fifty years ago and then today. Don't they look fabulous!
Each of the grandchildren received a wonderful snow globes with a photo from their grandparents wedding day.
This is a clearer photo of the image in the snow globe, I love it. Such a classy couple.
You can't get through the night without one of the grandchildren climbing into the furniture.
Here they are, all of Joan and Richard's children.
The children with their families.
I gave you the teaser shot of the grandchildren yesterday, still cracks me up just look in the post below this one.
One big happy family!
You were all great, I hope the rest of the evening was just as fun.
I photographed a really sweet 50th Anniversary party on Saturday evening and going through the images quickly tonight this image of the grand-kids got my eye and it cracks me up. So typical I think. I will certainly be posting more images from this event but I had to put this one up tonight.
The grand-kids group shot was a must have, the two little ones were less than thrilled but the show must go on! Better to document the moment than not have them in the shot at all. I personally LOVE this image. This was a super family and I will have more to post about them later.
Friday a group of wedding photographers met up to help prepare meals for MANNA. Sofia does a lot of work through out the year for this organization, when she called on us get volunteers to lend a helping hand we were all there happy to jump in.
Here is the group of us, flattering hairnet and all.
Jackie and Sofia looking oh so pretty! (They are going to kill me for posting this.)
Me and Heather sporting our fabulous hairnets.
Heather was really excited for me to take this photograph.
Ryan, who knew a hairnet could look so good?
We bagged a ton of cereal!I stole these last few from Jackie's site, she has more on her blog make sure you head over there to check it out.
I just find this photo hilarious!
I don't think I can work the hairnet as well as Ryan can, it is much more flattering on him.
It was really great to get out of the office and do some good for people in need. MANNA is a great organization and I am happy to have been able to contribute in some small way.
Saturday was Nuala's 2nd birthday, and I had the privilege of being there again for the party. It has been such a pleasure watching this little girl grow up! You can check out last years birthday here.
So serious at first yet so adorable!
She was very excited, within the first five minutes of my being at the house two different presents were dropped off. She could hardly wait to open them.
The party was held at the Fleisher Art Memorial, they did a superb job of setting up all sorts of fun crafty stations for the kidos. Nuala's first stop was to make a button.
Print making for two year olds.
Painting fun with vegetables.
Rebecca and Kevin are awesome parents, so proud of their little girl and a good looking couple.
Very happy family!
The end of the party was crazy! All the kids got balloons and they were having the time of their lives running around the room with them. Nuala went from having just one balloon to having eight!
Of course I feel special when the parents request a photo of me with their child.
I can't believe how fast Nuala is growing up and that I have been able to document so many stages in her life starting from when she was still in the belly!
Be sure to check out the slideshow, you should recognize some of the kids from the party last year and from some of my other moodybaby photo sessions.
A couple of weeks ago I shot a really fun wedding with Ryan Estes. This guy is super busy and you can see why! He was a ton of fun to shoot with. We have been friends and sending referrals each others way for a while now, but this was the first time we actually got to shoot together. I am looking forward to shooting with him again.
He is such a hamb.
Here are a two of my favorites
Jessica and Dustin were a great couple and up for any ideas we threw their way, Jessica had a fantastic time posing with the school bus.
Really, how can you not have fun at a wedding when shooting with this guy?Of course Ryan got a shot of me too. Its something photographers just like to do when coming out to shoot with each other. We don't have many photos of ourselves in action so its almost obligatory to take a few shots of each other.
The last two days have been a whirl wind! Yesterday I drove up to New Haven Connecticut for the monthly CT PUG meeting. Before I left the house I received notice that a belly print of mine was selected for the annual Perkins Center Photography exhibition, this year it is Photography 27. It is pretty competitive to get in, I made it in only once before, so I was really excited. I submitted three images, one is definitely in and the other is a "maybe" which means it depends on the hanging space and the decision of the judges. The maybe is the shot of Danica and the other one is a photograph of Jean that has never made it online. I invite anyone who is in the area to come out for the opening on Jan 26th! So needless to say the beginning of my day started out pretty great yesterday and to top it off I hit zero traffic and made it to CT in the record time of three hours! I got to hang out with Justin and Mary a bit before the meeting and they were super gracious to let me sleep on their couch last night. On to the PUG meeting. This was HUGE pug meeting! J Sandifer was there from Livebooks to give a demo of their awesome website offerings and to educate us on the importance of websites and prominence online. The thing for me that makes their sites so desirable is what they offer on the back-end and the ease of use. J had guaranteed Justin and Mary that if they got 50 people to come out to the meeting for his demo that he would give a site away for free. So you can imagine the draw this was. I went up to support them in this endeavor and add to the numbers as well as network and meet some new people. You can imagine my surprise and total excitement when my number was drawn from the bag for the website! J totally had me sold with his presentation and my mind was already working trying to think of what I would need to do to set up a site with them. I could not believe it, cannot believe it, I am so excited.
CT has an amazing PUG. Not only did 50 people come out for this meeting, but 54 people came out! That is such an amazing number. I am so envious of their PUG. We chilled with the PUG until well after midnight! The excitement doesn't stop there folks! This morning I had an awesome breakfast with M and J before heading into NYC to meet up with Don and his good friend John Gruber of Daring Fireball to check out the set of a commercial Don did the shooting boards for. I can not divulge much information about the commercial BUT I will say it stars an amazing director. When it comes out on TV I will let you know which one it is. I am sorry to be such a tease but I really can't say anything about it. Don does shooting boards for a lot of really cool commercials, one of the fed-ex commercials aired during the super bowl last year and recently he did the boards for AMEX starring Tina Fay. I am sure you have seen it. He got to watch the filming of that one too. He has a good/rewarding job. In summary; I made it into a print competition, got to see good friends, meet new people, won a free website and watched the filming of a commercial. Doesn't get much better than that.
So its that time of year. I have never done a best of post before, so this is a first for me. Going through all the weddings and moodybaby sessions from last year has been a great trip down memory lane. It was so hard narrowing these photos down, I could have easily doubled each slideshow.
Best of Weddings
I have included a lot of photos that never made it to the blog from weddings I second shot with Laura and Paul Eaton, Sofia Negron, Joe Pulcinella and Heather Fowler. I have had so much fun this year and learned so many new things along the way. I am really looking forward to 2008. With that I give you some of my favorites from this year.
Best of MoodyBabies
Narrowing down the babies was equally as difficult as the weddings. I photographed so many adorable children this year. I also gained many new friendships with all the families that invited me out to their homes and into their lives. I am so excited to see many of these families again in 2008.
Last night we had a blast at our PUG (Pictage User Group) holiday party. We all met up at North Bowl in the Northern Liberties neighborhood. Sofia Negron and I are the PUG leaders for our area, Philly and New Jersey. What we usually do at our PUG meetings is help other photographers who use pictage with anything they need help with. We also have speakers and cover topics to benefit everyone in building their business. There are a lot of photographers in this area and instead of considering each other the competition we work to strengthen everyone's business.
Last night was all about having fun and Pictage rewarding us for all the hard work we have done throughout the year. Check it out as we made fools of ourself!
Here I am concentrating hard, straight down the middle! I am not good at bowling.
Chris, who won both games and was very nonchalant about the whole thing. He was good.
Ryan again, a full succession depicting his true form of bowling.
We had a lot of fun and way too many tator tots. We tried to cram five people into the photo booth, but it was an older booth and the lens was not nearly wide enough for us all. I think the first set is dominated by Ryan and then the second set is dominated by me. Sofia has the photos and should be posting them on her blog soon. There were some more people than I am showing but we had the perfect amount for a good game of bowling and great conversation. It was great seeing everyone and I look forward to seeing you at future PUG meetings.
The past two weekends I have had the privilege of shooting with two awesome people.
Two weekends ago I got to shoot with the awesome Heather Fowler. Heather shot with me at the beginning of the season so it was great to shoot with her at the end. I have a great time shooting with Heather and its always great to see how other photographers handle events.
I have a couple of shots of Heather in action.
The wedding party had a ton of little girls in the same dress, adorable.
It was also my first time shooting in the Crystal Tea Room. Absolutely fantastic venue, amazing.
This past Saturday I shot with Aaron Owens, he is an associate of Sofia Negron's. Aaron's usual second shooter broke her hand, ouch, so I was happy to fill in and help out. The wedding was at Carinwood Mansion, another amazing Venue.
The sky was amazing, simply amazing.
Can you find Aaron? He's the super tall guy with the camera. I love all the different expressions on the guests faces, this was during the speeches.
Really Aaron is super tall. He has to be close to seven feet. It was my first time meeting Aaron, Sofia has always spoken very highly of him. He was fun to work with and I was amazed at his graceful presence.
That pretty much puts an end to wedding season for me for this year. It has been great and I am looking forward to next year.
It has been a whirl wind the last couple of days. Wednesday I headed up to NYC for Jason Groupp's pre-expo party. It was a ton of fun and ton's of photographers were there from all over the country.
At first I hung out with my friends Sofia Negron, Laura Eaton and Paul Eaton. I made some attempts to get us all in a self portrait. We were pretty successful for the most part, although Sofia is kind of hidden. Sorry Sofia!
I finally got a chance to chat more with Amber Holritz. She does amazing children's portraits in Tennessee.
We tried to get Sofia in the shot again.
Hanging out with some fellow PUG leaders. Me, Amber, Justin, Mary and Carlos.
I caught Rita and Joel Weibner catching some ZZZZ's at the expo. Aren't they adorable?
Sofia and I did a ton of walking and trekking around NYC, my feet are still a little sore. I got to see a lot at the expo and got a lot of new ideas for this coming year. I also must have caught something while we were there because I am sick as a dog today. I had to reschedule a baby shoot and it was such a bummer because today was beautiful! But I can't risk getting someone's children sick. I hope this doesn't last that long I hate being sick when I have things to do. Off to bed I go, hopefully I can sleep tonight.
I know some of you are anxiously awaiting this slideshow! Kristin and Phil had an amazing day. The weather was beautiful, a little on the warm side for October but beautiful non the less. Kristin's dress was simply amazing, and she was stunning. Phil was such a gentleman all day and looked mighty handsome too. The reception was at Bolingbroke on the Main Line in Radnor. It was beautiful and classic, just like Kristin and Phil. The staff was so thoughtful, they made sure we were as comfortable as the guests. They hired Joanna Pascale to play at the reception and she was amazing as was the band that was with her. Really classy and such a beautiful voice. Kristin did a lot of ballroom dancing in college so Joanna was the perfect choice.
Thank you again to Joe and Don for helping me, some of their images are included in this slideshow. It was such a pleasure being part of your day Kristin and Phil, I hope you are enjoying your Greek honeymoon.
I thought this behind the scenes action was funny, Don snapped Joe and I in paparazzi mode.
Its rally time again. This time our club, Rabble Rousers, is hosting it here in Philly. I have been rather busy and distracted at this rally because I am shooting Kristin and Phil's wedding tomorrow. So I have had little errands to run and things to take care of in preparation. I got to hang out at the POPE (pub on passyunk east) on Friday night and go on the late night "crime ride" through the city ending at the Art Museum steps. Everyone met up for breakfast and ride this morning. I stepped out of tonights events to relax and get all my gear together and organized for tomorrow. Everyone is hanging out at Johnny Brendas for Punk Rock Kareoke and I just talked to Don and he said it was pretty entertaining.
Here is one photo from last night that I particularly like, the handsome gent is Sean and Geiger is giving the thumbs up behind him. I am uploading the rest of my images to scoot.net now.
Don and I just got settled in from our trip back from Connecticut. We were up in New Haven this weekend for the Annual Elm City Scooter Rally, this years theme "Your scooter still sucks". We love those Elm City kids, they are always super hospitable and just a all round good group of people. Here are a couple of the shots I grabbed.
This happens to be an abstract detail of an old beat up seat. I forget whose bike this was but this was obviously the original seat.
On the ride, there were a ton of scooters this year, you can see them still coming up from over the horizon.
At rallies we do a lot of riding, hanging out, eating, more hanging out and riding.
I was very excited that my new friends Justin Marantz and Mary Bess came out to have brunch with us. They had never seen this many scooters at one time. Justin took quite possibly the best shot of me on a scooter, check out their blog. Don got this one of us.
We had a very fun and exhausting weekend. I am glad we decided to come back early instead of going on the ride today. We hit so much traffic approaching and through NYC. I feel bad for anyone who was going north on 95 or the New Jersey Turnpike today, it was literally backed up from New Haven to New Jersey. I am glad we weren't going north.
If you are curious and want to see some more photos check em out here. Everyone who attended the rally and took any photos will post them there.
Without further ado I give you images from Jane and Brian's wedding on September 8th. They were such a fun couple and their wedding party had an awesome personality as well. This was the first time in a long time that I shot solo and it could not have gone any better. Jane and Brian made sure there was enough time for me to cover each of them getting ready before the ceremony. One of the groomsman and his wife drove with me to the Valley Green Inn in which was great since I know I would have gotten lost otherwise! The wedding was an early one, the ceremony started at 11:30 and it could not have been a more beautiful day.
Jane before the ceremony beautiful and ready to get the show on the road.
Brian looking mighty cool himself before the ceremony.
Jane had a great time posing for these photos, I love when my brides just decide to have a little fun with out me having to instruct.
Since the wedding was such an early one the bridal party was not about to shut down the party at 4:00, so they rented a big yellow school bus to take them into Manayunk where they could do some bar hopping all dressed up. I can't wait to hear the stories from that part of the day. I thought it was a mighty cool idea though so nobody had to be responsible to drive. Thank you for having me there to document your day. Here is your slideshow.
Yesterday I went over to my good friend Melissa's to celebrate her daughter Ellena's 1st Birthday. You may remember Ellena's photo shoot a couple months earlier. Ellena didn't need much instruction on how to do things, she tore open presents and tore into her cake too! I love watching what kids do when you put a piece of cake in front of them. Mike and Melissa threw a very sweet party for their little girl and it was so nice to see so many familiar faces.
Happy Birthday Ellena!
I had a fun afternoon hanging out, I am so happy I was able to make it. Here is a quick little video of Ellena and her cake.
So I have finally downloaded my photos from Partner Con, long after everyone else I am sure so hopefully you will still find enjoyment from them. These photos are pretty much only from the KISS and ShowitWeb party.
KISS is a wedding album company and ShowitWeb is the company I use to make all my slideshows. DJ and Kevin Swan put together and this awesome night out for everyone, they provided limos for us to the club, hula dancers and of course the photo booth.
I also want to say that is was such a pleasure to meet and hang out with the following people, Julie(I forget your site Julie!), Paige Elizabeth, Justin and Mary, Corey McNabb, Amber and Nathan Holritz, Millie Holloman, Davina Fear, Regina Holder, and my hometown friends Laura Eaton and Heather Fowler. I met so many more people forgive me if I am not mentioning you! I have really enjoyed going to these photographer intensive events. It is such a breath of fresh air to be around so many talented people and share and learn from them. I saw Robert Evans speak, which I believe he said it was his first speaking engagement, and I think that really stood out to me. He photographs a lot of celebrity weddings, Katie Holmes & Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston, but he seemed like a total down to earth guy. He gave out a ton of information about how he interviews his clients and helps in planning their day.
I think I would have loved one more day to make some more connections but there is always next year!
Some fun stuff from the Pictage Partner Conference
I am still awaiting my laptop HD to come back from the data recovery doctors so I am still not quite set up to do serious blogging of photos and its seriously killing me! Also all my phone numbers are on my laptop, so if you have not received a call from me its most likely because I have your number in my address book on my laptop. I have learned a lot of lessons with this little predicament. I do usually back everything up regularly and I don't keep any images on my laptop, I just get a little lazy with backing up email data. Lesson learned.
I thought I would link to some stuff that some other awesome photographers I am happy to know have posted. This is the slideshow from Justin Marantz and Mary Bass You can check out more of their work here They are an awesome awesome couple from Connecticut that I hope to see in a couple of weeks actually. I met Mary a while ago at a big women photographers luncheon so it was great to see a familiar face in L.A. They are so adorable.
Here is a slideshow of all the photos taken in the Kiss and SHOWit photo booth. Much much fun was had in there. I can not wait to post my stuff, did I mention this is killing me! I have some fun photos as I was playing paparazzi while other people were in the photo booth. I also have some little videos to share. See how much fun photographers have when they get together!

Last weekend I had the pleasure of documenting Jackie's bridal shower. Jackie is getting married in October and Sofia Negron is photographing the wedding, check out their engagement slideshow on Sofia's blog. The shower was held at Fork and it was such a relaxed happy group of people. Jackies friends took care of the party favors and center pieces, instead of having flowers they decided to have lemons and limes. It was really a great idea and guests got to take them home, I was even sent home with one! If you ever dine at Fork, take notice that all silverware is mismatched, and no fork is alike. The favors were very sweet, literally. They continued the theme of lemons and limes and included lemon drops and homemade lemon tarts. Yum. Of course they adorned Jackie with a tiara made from all the bows and ribbon off her presents. And they made her wear the Crate and Barrel sash. Jackie is so beautiful and has such an awesome personality. Here she is waiting for Ron to load up the car with gifts.
The happy couple.
Good friends. Here are two recent photos of Sofia I took, I thought Jackie and Ron might like to see their photographer in front of the camera! I hope you guys have a wonderful wedding day and you are in great hands with Sofia.
We just finished Kristin and Phil's guest book and it is off to the printer/binder! I think it looks fantastic and am really excited to see it in person. Click here to see the book. Don is responsible for the design and illustrations, he did an amazing job as usual. I offer guest books as an add on item, if you want to add one to your wedding package let me know.
Last night I second shot for my good friend Photo Joe. He already has photos posted on his blog, and one of me on a ladder so you should go and check it out. Its always nice second shooting because you get to shoot with someone you admire and you don't have so much pressure on your shoulders when shooting. Here are a couple of my favorites from the day.
Meet Melissa
She is drop dead gorgeous, and her eyes are mesmerizing.
Meet Richie, not so bad looking himself.
Working with Joe is cool because he likes to set up portraits with more of a high fashion flare. Once we got Melissa up on this bench the wind worked really well with us.
Joe brought along his video light, which made for some awesome "moody" night portraits by the fountain. I may have to pick up some of these lights.
The reception and details were amazing. I cant even begin to describe how many flowers were at this wedding. Everything was so beautiful. Everything was held at the Four Seasons here in Philadelphia, their staff did an amazing job bringing everything together.
Here is Joe about to attempt entering the dance floor.
The dance floor was packed all night, I have never seen anything like it before. 200 guests and everyone of them getting down on the dance floor all night, it was actually difficult to get the usual fun dancing photos because the floor was so packed. I don't even think this photo does it justice but hopefully you can get the idea.Joe is going to kill me for posting this shot, isn't he such a little lamb chop?
Bad food humor I know but I couldn't help myself. It was great working with you again Joe, awesome shots on your blog.
Totally special treat today at our monthly Pictage meeting! Linette recently signed on with Pictage and I am excited about it because I get to see her at least one more time a month than I normally do. Today we all brought along our cameras in hopes of getting some good photos of each other. You think this would be easy, but photographers are extremely shy in front of the camera, who would have guessed. Linette started us off and having Carver with her made it a little easier for her. This little guy is cute beyond words, I love him.
I was lured in by his expressions today. He was just hanging out in the stroller here.
Such expression!
So I admit I avoided the spot light at this meeting, which is totally fine by me, maybe next time.
Katie and Declan are two of the sweetest couples I know. They have been together since they were 15 and Declan proposed to Katie last year in front of an entire summer camp full of kids that Katie was teaching. They have a lot of fun stories and they can now add their wedding day to the list. The day was super hot but luckily looking at the photos you would never know it, besides Katie of course as she was one hot bride! The wedding Party was fun and full of energy, they were also into doing a lot of jumping and making funny faces.
I crack up at this photo every time I look at it!
Simple Detail
I know you all must be excited to see this slideshow, I can tell because the sheer number of hits my blog got today!
I finally had a chance to go through all the photos from Dawn and Mike's wedding, Don and I really out did ourselves by the sheer number of images we took that day. It was great reliving the day all over again today and noticing things about the day that passed by so quickly I had already forgotten about them. Thank goodness for photographs! Dawn and Mike are not only great clients but they are really good personal friends of mine. There was always a special connection between Dawn and Mike, but the timing was not always right, until a couple of years ago. It was like the stars aligned to point straight at them. I know that they were excited about it but I think the circle of friends were even more excited. They are the perfect match and I am really happy for them. Congratulations you guys I hope the honeymoon is going great.
No wonder I was feeling so unloved! Somehow all my comments were turned off, actually I have to check a box every time I have a new post that says if I want comments or not...didn't used to be that way. I am wise to it now, comments are enabled so feel free to share your love.
