This past Saturday I visited Tina and Nick and met baby Ryder for the first time. It was not long ago when we did our belly session and its always amazing to see "the final product". He is so handsome and adorably cute. Not to mention his parents and grandparents couldn't be more thrilled to have him. He is the first boy to join the list of grandchildren and Tina and Nick were told they would never have children. So this has been a most momentous occasion for the whole family.
Meet the new family
They are all pretty much my favorites, love this one.
My favorite.
We call this one The Lion King shot.
Big hands, little feet
Ryder always has a leg out. No matter how much you wrap him up he finds a way to get one leg out of the blanket.
Tina looks simply amazing for giving birth two weeks ago.
It makes me smile to see images from their belly session prominently displayed in the living room, they look awesome. I also just love this image with the belly shots in back and the newly arrived baby.
Heart melter.
He was so good! He was awake for most of the session and he was so bright eyed.
Another heart melter.
Similar but I love this one too, couldn't decide which one to show.
It was so fun hanging out with you all, thank you for the shake and the wine! I can not wait to watch this little guy grow up. He is so adorable. See you in a few months.
My passion for photography has brought me from New Mexico to Philadelphia. I fell in love with the change of seasons, the city, and its people.
Photography has always been a part of my life. My family has a rich history of photographers: my grandfather and great grandfather were amazing photo hobbyists. I have some great photographs from my family dating back to the later 1800's and early 1900's. It's amazing to see a photograph of what your mother looked like on her wedding day, when she was pregnant with you and how young she was, because sometimes we forget I was phhotograpghed constantly as a child and having those pictures today is priceless. Photography is history. The images you make today will be passed down for generations. I love bringing that Joy to others.
I approach photography with a documentary mindset. I concentrate on light, perspective, compostion and expression. I make art that will remain with a family for generations.
