Snow Day, finally.

It has been such a strange winter, we really haven't had much of one! I always feel like a little kid when it snows, I wake up all excited to see how much we got. Since I work at home now I don't have to go through the agonizing disappointment when calling the snow closure line to find out that schools are still open, I don't have to go anywhere if I don't want to.

I took a few images on our walk with Alma this morning, this is our tree.
It has beautiful red berries.
A little patriotic.
More tree, I couldn't decide which one I like more.
Don with Alma. She was so frisky this morning, eating snow and bounding around.
I hope everyone gets a chance to enjoy the snow today, before its all gone. I wish we would get some that would actually stay around for a while.

I didn't know Don and Alma had levitation capabilities!? Fun shots! I can't wait to get out and shoot too! It's Carver's first sort of substantial snow storm:)

LOVE the tree and berries! Where's the name "Alma" for your dog come from? Cute!

Well Alma is a Hungarian sheep dog (Puli) and in Hungarian Alma means apple. Don really liked the name when she was a puppy and wanted her to have a Hungarian name.

Funny side bit of info is that I have a cousin named Alma, and my Mom's dog is named Joy! (She was named Joy before my mom owned her, it was very weird when she first got her, I always thought my mom was yelling at me.)

Alma in Spanish means "soul." I guess no matter what language it is, your dog has a great and meaningful name.

I agree with Lucky Red Hen, the berries picture rocks!
