Mirror of Sadness
Well I think it is official, 2007 is not going to be a good year for my car. Living in Manayunk has given my car a lot of scrapes and bruises but in the last couple of months my car has suffered unnecessary damage. First it was the crushing of my VW grille and now this. I can be thankful that the body was not hit. I know I am not alone in these minor mishaps so I feel for all of you when these things happen. We should all try and be respectful when parking and if you hit someone leave a note. It is the good thing to do.

Aaaack! A few years ago I was driving my previous car, a Ford Contour, down a gravel road. This road had lots of up-down, up-down, hills. Well, I caught air on one hill and started fish-tailing. I smacked someone's mailbox and broke off my passenger side mirror. I left a note in the person's mailbox and they called me just to make sure that I was okay. They didn't care about the mailbox and they thanked me for leaving a note. ++
